Born and raised in France, Guillotin started his international business career in Germany in 1992 after having completed his undergraduate studies in France and earned two undergraduate degrees in international marketing and international business. In 1997, he earned his MBA in international management from Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona and then worked for American Express in Phoenix, Arizona and Nortel Networks in RTP, North Carolina. In 2002, he joined the Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and resides in Cary, North Carolina with his wife, Melissa, and his son, Sébastien. Bertrand primarily manages the GATE, Exchange, CPT/OPT and language programs, as well as other International Center events at Fuqua. As P.I.M. Chair for North America, Bertrand represents 14 business schools.

Candice recently joined The Fuqua School of Business in 2008. Before joining the Fuqua team, Candice received her Master of Science degree (MSc) in International and European Politics from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. In addition, she completed her BA in Political Science - International Studies from NCSU in 2005. Candice has had a range of professional experiences including Retirement Specialist with PriceWaterhouse Coopers and Project Manager for a CDC-funded research project out of the University of South Carolina.  Also, she has over thirty years of personal experience with academia via her father, Dr. Tim Aldrich, Sr. PhD, MPH, an Epidemiologist and Public Health Professional, who has worked at numerous universities and state governments throughout the country.

After a 31-year career in the oil industry working in various executive-level positions in exploration and production with Unocal Corporation in the U.S. and Europe, Sax joined Duke University's Fuqua School of Business in 1987. In addition to teaching a small business consulting course (which has worked with over 200 organizations in the Triangle area), he teaches the Strategic Planning Practicum, and the Curricular Practical Training (CPT) course for all international students who do a summer internship in the U.S. He is a geophysicist by training, having graduated from St. Louis University with a degree in exploration geophysics. Mr. Sax has two sons and resides in Chapel Hill, North Carolina with his wife, Peggy.
